Stegna in Rhodes

Choosing between Crete and Rhodes may really be a hard task to complete as both of the islands located in the Mediterranean are equally worth visiting, equally interesting from the historical as well the tourist point of view. Crete is bigger yet that does not necessarily mean that there is less to visit while staying in Rhodes. Rhodes has a real array of different tourist resorts to choose from, yet there are probably really few such places that have something to offer for everyone.

Stegna located on the east coast of the island is a tiny village that has to offer both peace and quiet as well as entertainment for those that crave for stronger feelings and attractions

The beach is located just 500 meters along the road from Stegna, and is the ideal bathing place for the local villagers. These make up most of the bathers on the beach, along with the visitors staying at the hotel. An ideal location for those seeking relaxation. Sand and pebbles, a kiosk, water sports, a few tavernas and rooms for rent.

Flocks of robins do sometimes appear on the horizon : they comprise specific climate of the place. Robins are small auburn birds, met all over Europe. In Rhodes as well.

Stegna has truly outstanding beach, with sand that has no match all around that island,
