Where is Rhodes? Everybody should know the answer for this question as I have already written about it few times in this blog. This tiny island has much to offer for tourists yet , unfortunately, not much for young people living there that want to pursue career in higher education. As the fictitious Cyprus Rhodes University does not truly exist (it is only an element of a new show GREEK, and there is no relation to anything else that this show if you try to seek in the Internet). So what lies in store for young and promising writers, scientists or other budding future successful people? Fortunately there are universities in Greece, so they just have to change location and try to accommodate themselves in one of the biggest Greek cities. There are plenty of higher education centres to choose from, offering technical as well as agricultural courses as well as ones covering humanities. There is also Aegeyan University (one of its departments is located in Rhodes, still it is not much to choose from, is it?).
There are also few places to study in foreing languages, like in The University of Indianapolis in Athens in in European University in Athens. Young Greeks now have plenty of opportunities to choose from, and as Greece is in The European UnionĀ they may as well study in other European countries.
